The Palsson's!

This is my Brother, his gorgeous wife and precious son. They volunteered to help me out with a small photo shoot. They are such a good looking little family and I'm so excited for their fourth member to arrive next April! Thank you guys for coming such a long way for such a short amount of time! Hopefully next time it won't start hailing on us :) Love you guys!

WARNING: Photo Overload.

The first photo I antiqued quite a bit. It's a different look that I don't normally use. I'm not quite sure if I'm in love with it just yet. What do you guys think? Maybe if I add in a little more vibrance...

It's Official!

Preston and I are going to Europe!

Here's the proof...

Clicking the confirmation button for purchasing our tickets :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

On the tenth day of the tenth month, a miracle was born.
My Dad!
I love you so much!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Miller Speedway

Our friend, Matt, had a birthday last week so we took him to our new favorite destination. Miller Speedway! It is one of the largest tracks in the world and is located right here in Utah, in Tooele. Go Karts, unlike any other, are available to test drive. They get up to speeds of 45 mhp and handle like little mini Porsches. Sport bikes, Rubicon Jeeps and Formula 1 cars are also available for rent. I might say it is a miniature Heaven on Earth :D

My Best Friend

This is my Best Friend...

I have been so blessed to have found Preston
and I am so lucky that he chose me.

I still don't quite understand why some people say
that the first year of marriage is so rough
because as far as I'm concerned, this has been the best year
of my life and each day is better then the last.

Preston keeps the amazing communication
going in our relationship.

He always has a smile on his face and
when I'm down, he cheers me up.

Preston and I love to stay up late and watch
movies together, play games together and/or
work on house projects together, despite the
fact that we have to get up at the crack.

Time is the most precious of gifts that
we can give to one another and boy do
we both give a lot of it.

Preston sacrifices so much for me
and I am eternally grateful for that,

I am eternally grateful for him.

Preston is responsible, mature, intelligent,
strong willed, spiritual, witty, goofy, loving,
kind, giving, patient, humble,
talented, physically strong, gentle,
motivated, creative, honest, trusting,
passionate about the things he believes in,
family oriented, great with kids,
and FUN

He makes me a better person everyday.

I am so blessed that I get to spend all eternity with him.

Thank You.
I'll love you forever and always.

(CHEEZY, I KNOW. BUT IT'S TRUE!)

September Is Almost Over...

I can't believe how quickly September has passed us by. I figured I needed to make at least one September post before the month is over.

It has been a pretty exciting month. My teacher that is from Ireland who taught my English class at Sacred Heart came to visit! Her name is Patricia Scroope. Mrs. Scroope was my absolutely most FAVORITE teacher I have ever had and ever will have, hands down. She has been the only person I've ever given The Book of Mormon to and she tells me that if I ever go visit her in Ireland, which will hopefully be next summer, I will see it sitting on her coffee table in her cottage. Her son, Gareth, came along as well. Mrs. Scroope and Gareth are very interested in the gospel so Preston I showed them around Salt Lake for two days. We answered many of their questions and when they return to Ireland, we are sending the missionaries over to their cottage. Yay for missionary work! I look forward to being at their baptisms :)

While we were in Salt Lake we also visited the Miller Speedway and Saltair. One word, FREAKING AWESOME! ... oh wait, that's two.

Preston and I also finished tiling Dukes room/ future laundry room. It looks great! I look forward to getting the walls re-textured (hurray for Muddy Boys) and painted. I know I still haven't posted pictures of the bathroom... ooops. They're coming soon.

The month isn't over yet. There is more fun to be had next week. I'll be sure to keep the blog updated.

Poor Mrs. Scoope's face got really burnt :(

A Couple of Pictures...

These two pictures are of Preston and Evan. I took them over the past week and really liked them so I decided to share with everyone :)

For some reason the color of my pictures are dull when I upload them to the blog. I've read up on how I can fix this but nothing seems to work. All of my pictures are so nice in their rich colors on my computer, I wish I could share :(.
